Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted from July to November 2024 across six enterprises in Iran, with 205 participants, selected through stratified random sampling. Cognitive function was evaluated using both MMSE and MoCA, supplemented by a demographic questionnaire and the stress section of DASS-21. Statistical analyses were performed using Kappa agreement, Pearson’s correlation, and logistic regression via SPSS V26.
Results: Finally, 215 employees (81.9% male) participated in the study. MoCA identified a higher prevalence of CI (n= 80, 37.21%) compared to the MMSE (n= 65, 30.23%), demonstrating a moderate correlation (Pearson's r= 0.583, p< 0.001) and agreement (Kappa= 0.576, p< 0.001). Significant predictors of CI included age, education, and job-related stress (OR= 2.987, p< 0.001). Employees in the chemical and construction sectors exhibited a heightened risk of CI
